The international wushu federation (iwuf), which was established on october 3rd, 1990, is the international federation (if) that governs wushu in all its forms world-wide. Currently, the iwuf has 162 national/ territorial members (nfs), across 5 continents, 42 nfs in africa, 40 nfs in asia, 46 nfs in europe, 9 nfs in oceania and 25 nfs in the americas.
Jan 1, 2025the world kungfu championships (wkfc), hosted by the iwuf, is an international level sporting event established in 2004 to propagate the development of wushu around the world. The international wushu federation (iwuf) continues to preserve and promote traditional wushu as the practice has steadily entered the realm of sport for all.
